Peter Thiel famously said to startup founders, "Competition is for losers", but we say, "Monopolies are for the corrupt." Insofar as interoperability and no-lock-in means heavy competition, we say bring it on. Who would want to be a lazy cheat that doesn't compete, that isn't accountable to users for quality and innovation?
